A Flagship social initiative by PT Delima International Indonesia collaboration with Yayasan Mitra Pengembangan Indonesia (YMPI). We were building a scalable, high-impact literacy model designed to be adopted by forward-thinking organizations worldwide.

In middle 2025, we launched Taman Baca YMPI Delima (TBYD) in Baubau to prove that literacy can be transformed through community action, specifically addressing the reality that 60% of local students lacked basic literacy foundations. What started as a small initiative for children aged 4–15 quickly evolved into a powerful movement known as "Read-Play-Express." By implementing a modular, high-impact curriculum over five months, we successfully bridged the gap between home and school, TBYD create vibrant hubs of hope and active learning.

The success of this first batch (August – December 2025) serves as a scalable social blueprint, demonstrating how corporate-backed initiatives can foster deep local roots. By training more than 20 local youth to become teachers and community leaders, we have created a sustainable model that is ready to be replicated globally. This "Lighthouse Project" proves that with the right framework, any organization can empower a generation to become critical thinkers and resilient leaders.
